Curito will state, "How would you like to play with warriors from other parallel universes?" There will also be two buttons stating "Play Locally" and "Play Online." The player can choose how he would like to play.
Upon interacting with Curito, a menu will pop up. Talking to this owl allows the player to access Multiplayer mode. At the top right corner of the Nexus Chamber room there's a white tree, and a pure whiite owl by the name of Curito can be found above this tree. To access Multiplayer, the player must first travel to the Nexus Chamber room, a seperate room to the left of the Living Room.
Multiplayer is a gamemode in Otherworld Legends, that can be unlocked after unlocking Display Room and finishing a (dying or defeating Asura) run 2 times in total.
